Wearing glasses and loving makeup don’t always go hand in hand. Well, I’m here to save the day with a few makeup tips for ladies that wear eyeglasses.
Whether you have dry, oily or combination skin, starting off with a primer before applying foundation is key, this allows everything to go on smoothly. I personally like applying my foundation with a beauty blender. This creates an even application, eliminating the “cakey” look that foundation often gives when using a makeup brush.
Add emphasis to your eyes by applying liner to the top of your eyelids, add some eye shadow, and a pop of highlight in the inner corner of your eyes. This will make your eyes more pronounced. People will not only see your glasses, but your eyes will pop too.
Bake your concealer in. Woah! You didn’t know baking was just for the oven, did ya!
What is baking you ask? Well, baking refers to letting translucent powder sit on your face for 5 to 10 minutes, which allows your foundation and concealer to set.
Dust it off your face, leaving you with a crease-less, flawless finish. Not to mention it helps your glasses from sliding down your face! Less oil = less slippage!
Setting sprays are a makeup artist’s favorite finishing touch especially for an all-day event. It not only refreshes your makeup, but it also seals your makeup for a very natural look that lasts all day. Setting sprays are so popular now that there’s so many different formulas that mattify, hydrate, and even have illuminating pigments that help you glow girl!
